A little more on this ...

Some wooden objects were painted in the MCM era ... but for the most part we are looking for stained wood on any authentically - or reproduction - mid-century object.  

Special note: if it IS painted and original to the mid-century era ... watch out for lead paint.  You may want to get that object texted before introducing it to your home!
