A little more on this ...

When in doubt, refer to your Style Guide.  Not everything in your house needs to MATCH.  It can be too much of a challenge to make sure EVERY SINGLE ONE of those items is rendered as the exact same material.  So don’t hold yourself to that.  

You'll also find that your original house didn’t.  Even among original materials you may find a mishmash.  

But limit your choices.  In any given room (or for simplicity’s sake in your whole house) you want 2 different metals max - no more than three.  

To make life easier I like a “pick two” approach to the metal fixtures and finished in your house.  You should be able to pull that off even if you are dealing with some suppliers that offer only a limited range of options.
